Installation

BEFORE INSTALLATION

Turn off the thermostat, all electronic sources and electrical devices which will be connected before installation and maintenance. The installer must be a trained service personnel. Location: It should be mounted on an inner wall, 1,5m above the floor. Prevent direct exposure to sunlight, drip, or splash.

  • Ensure that the surface is level.
  • Place the cables at the hole near terminal back.
  • Insert 2 pcs of wall anchors into the holes
  • Fasten the thermostat with 2 pcs of long screws through the 2 mounting holes as shown in the below figure.

BATTERIES REPLACEMENT

  • Choose the correct type of batteries and install them with the correct polarity. Do not mix old and new batteries. Remove the batteries if they are exhausted or if the thermostat will not be used for a period. Use alkaline batteries 2×1.5V LR6 (AA)
  • Check the performance of the thermistor sensor by measuring the variable resistance corresponding to different temperatures. If it is in good condition, the value of the LCD will change accordingly, otherwise, trace the control circuit or the LCD connection, replace the thermistor sensor if necessary.

Description of commands and operations

OPENING-START-RESET
Pull out the battery drawer and then lightly press in  order to detach the front shell from its base. When the system is reset, all the LCD segments are ON and the measured temperature will be displayed after a while. Low Battery Check will be done at start-up. when battery is low, will be displayed and please replace the battery

NORMAL DISPLAY MODE

  • Temperature detection starts and LCD displays the room temperature.
  • Below 0°C , will display LO
  • Above 40°C, will display HI
  • Press <Up> / <Down> to adjust Heat / Cool setting temperature.
  • Press <ON/OFF> to select Heat / Cool / Off Mode. By default, press <ON/OFF> to switch from Off to Cool / Heat or vice versa. To switch to Heat / Cool mode, press & held <ON/OFF> for 2 seconds in Off mode to Heat / Cool mode will then be activated.
  • <Defrost> function will be activated with displayed when the temperature is below 5°C Heat Mode. The heater is on regardless of the setting temperature.

SETTINGS AND FUNCTIONS

  • Press <Up> or <Down> keys to adjust Heat / Cool setting temperature in normal display.
  • Heat / Cool setting temperature flashes.
  • In Heat Mode, only heat setting temperature can be adjusted. In Cool mode only cool heat setting temperature can be adjusted
  • In Off Mode, no setting temperature can be adjusted.
  • The operation will resume to normal display mode after no key is pressed for 10 sec.
  • Press and hold <Backlight> and <Down> keys for 2 seconds.
  • Changes to the display of Function Setting selection.
  • <Up> / <Down> to adjust Type/ Setting.
  • Press < NEXT > to select Function Type/ Setting.
  • Press <ENT> to return to the normal display mode.

WIRING CONNECTION
There are 3 wiring terminals at the back of the thermostat which are labeled as “NC”, “NO” and “L”. Connect “L” to Live and “NO” to Heater or Cooler.
