FAQS

Q: How do wireless thermostats and boilers communicate?
A: A hub, a receiver, and the smart thermostat make up the majority of smart thermostats. The receiver is wired to the boiler once the hub is plugged into your broadband router. This makes your boiler internet-connected, enabling remote control and communication with your smart thermostat.

Q: For a wireless thermostat, what do I need?
A: A smart thermostat will need a power supply (battery or wired), as well as a receiver box if one is necessary, to be connected to your boiler. To operate the system, use the buttons and screen on the thermostat. When both devices are turned on, they may occasionally connect automatically.

Q: How durable are wireless thermostats?
A: The smart thermostat will survive well over a year on battery power alone with typical use. If the smart thermostat is powered by the C-wire (common wire), the battery life can be expected to be significantly longer.

Q: Exactly when should a thermostat be turned on?
A: The internal temperature should be at your selected setting in twenty minutes or less. The length of time an air conditioner runs to cool a room or an entire house is known as the AC cycle. At that moment, the thermostat will change to fan mode, and the AC unit will be shut off.

Q: What task does a thermostat carry out?
A: Until it reaches a predetermined minimum temperature, the thermostat isolates the engine from the radiator. It would take longer for the engine to warm up without a thermostat since heat would be constantly lost to the radiator.

Q: How often do thermostats require new batteries?
A: It is recommended to change thermostat batteries once every year. You shouldn’t have any trouble controlling your thermostat if you constantly change it.

Q: Which WiFi thermostats are the most reliable?
A smart thermostat may commonly lower energy costs while maintaining high levels of comfort indoors.

Q: A touchscreen is present on the Telin AC8038RF, right?
The Telin AC-609H-WIFI does not have a touchscreen, hence the answer is no. Instead, everything is managed using the Telin app on your tablet or smartphone.

Q: Can I set the Telin AC8038RF to automatically regulate the temperature?
A: Depending on your schedule and preferences, the Telin AC-609H-WIFI can be set to automatically regulate the temperature.

Q: The Telin AC8038RF has a warranty, right?
A: The Telin AC-609H-WIFI is covered by a 12-month warranty.

Q: How can I link my wifi network to the Telin AC8038RF?
A: The Telin app, which can be downloaded to your smartphone or tablet, allows the Telin AC-609H-WIFI to connect to your wifi network. To connect the thermostat to your network, follow the instructions in the app.

Q: Can I operate my Telin AC8038RF from a location other than my house?
A: As long as you have an internet connection, you can control the Telin AC-609H-WIFI from anywhere using the Telin app on your smartphone or tablet.
