The heating is turned on | |||||
Manu Auto | “Manu” indicates manual mode, and “Auto” indicates the automatic mode. In Auto mode, the thermostat executes the preprogrammed schedules. While in Manu mode, the thermostat maintains a constant set temperature manually set by the user. |
Turning your heating On Manually: |
Press the power button to turn on your thermostat. |
Press the Mode button until the screen shows manual. |
Press the up or down button to adjust to the required temperature |
Around 23degC is the average but you can increase if required. |
Press the ok button. The reading will return to the ambient temperature |

Turning your heating Off Manually: |
Press Power button to turn off your thermostat, you will see OFF on LCD. |
Your thermostat and floor are both off and your floor will cool down. Any settings you have entered into the Thermostat will be maintained |
Turning your heating on and off Automatically |
Step One: Set The Time and Day: |
(1). Press the clock button and the time display will start flashing, use the up and |
down buttons to adjust. (2). Holding the buttons down will increase or decrease the time in 15 minutes |
increments. Press the OK button once the time is set. (3). Press the day button to get to the current Day of the week. |
(4). Press OK button to exit. |
Step Two: Set the thermostat to Auto mode |
Ensure that the thermostat is on Auto mode. To select Auto mode press the Mode button until Auto is displayed.Your thermostat has 4 events each day. An Event is the moment at which the Thermostat will switch the heating on or off. For example Event 1 is the moment at which your heating will be activated each morning. Event 2 is when it will switch off in the morning. Event 3 is the evening or afternoon activation, Event 4 is the time in evening or afternoon at which the heating will switch off. |
Step Three: Programming your schedules |
To set your thermostat to 5+2 day programmable mode (Your thermostat will do the same thing Monday to Friday and can be programmed for different times on the weekend) |
(1). Press Prog button. |
(2). Press up or down buttons to adjust the time you wish the Event 1 to com- mence for the week days( from Monday to Friday). and then press Prog button. |
(3). Press up or down buttons to set the temperature for this Event, then press Prog. |
(4). Set time and temperature for the next event. Repeat step(2) and (3) for each time period. and then press Prog button. |
(5). Press up or down buttons to adjust the time you wish Event to commence for the weekends( Saturday and Sunday). and then press Prog button. |
(6). Press up or down buttons to set the temperature for this event, then press Prog. |
(7). Set time and temperature for the next event. Repeat step(5) and (6) for each event. |
(8). Press OK to save and exit. |
To set your thermostat to 7 day programmable mode use the following steps (Your thermostat will do the same thing for all seven days of the week) |
(1). Press Prog button. |
(2). Press up or down buttons to select the day you wish to start programming. Or hold up button to select all seven days of the week. Then press Prog. (to cancel all seven days programming hold up button down) Time will start flashing. |
(3). Press up or down buttons to adjust the time you wish Event 1 to commence for the currently selected day. and then press Prog button, Temperature will start flashing. |
(4). Press up or down buttons to set the temperature for this time period,then press Prog. |
(5). Set time and temperature for the next event. Repeat step(2) and (3) for each event. |
(6). Press OK to save and exit. |
Temporary temperature override |
In Auto mode, to temporarily override the current setpoint temperature, |
1. Press up or down button once, the set temperature starts flashing. |
2. Press up or down button again to adjust the set temperature. |
3. Press OK button to confirm the setting with OVERRIDE shown. |
Now your thermostat will maintain the new set temperature until the next setpoint. |
To cancel the override setting, press Del button once. |
Key Lock & Unlock |
Press and hold up button to lock the thermostat. A lock |
Press and hold down button to unlock the thermostat. The unlock icon will dissapear. |
* Note no program changes are possible while the unit is locked. |
Resetting factory defaults |
Your thermostat has the ability to reset all settings to the factory defaults. In standby mode(when thermostat is turned off), press and hold Clock button and Day button for 5 seconds until——- is shown(shown for 5 seconds only) |

Using a screwdriver unscrew the front plate from the back plate. Then pull the bottom of the thermostat towards you off the back plate. Wire up the thermostat as per the wiring diagram below, then place the back plate into the flush box and tighten it with the screws provided. To replace the thermostat put the top into the backing plate and then push the bottom of the thermostat in. Then replace screw holding both parts together.
Connect the green wire from the element to the house’s earth
