Rear cover removal
Removal of the original thermostat
Warning:
Before the replacement of the thermostat, disconnect the heating/cooling system for the main power source in your flat. This will protect you from a possible electric shock. before removing the supply lines, please read the following instructions:
- Unscrew the thermostat from the wall plate.
- Unscrew the connecting rear board of the thermostat from the wall.
- Push the rear board a small distance off the wall, but do not disconnect any wiring yet.
Wire marking
- Identify each wire and disconnect.
- Secure the wires against tearing off.
- Prevent any air leakage through the insulation foam, if the space behind the thermostat is too big. By this, you can avoid incorrect temperature measurements.
Thermostat location
The function of the thermostat is significantly affected by its location. Choose a place, where your family members spend most of their time, possibly an inner wall, where the air circulates freely and which is not in direct sunlight. Do not put the thermostat near sources of heat (TVs, radiators, fridges) or near the door (due to frequent vibrations). If you don’t follow these recommendations, the temperature in the room won’t be regulated properly.
Thermostat installation
- Remove the front cover of the control unit.
- Mark the position of the holes for the rear plate.
- Drill two holes, carefully insert plastic dowels and align them with the wall.
- emove the cover from the contacts (see the picture) and connect the wires.
- Securely fix the control unit to the rear plate, using two screws.
- Complete the installation by covering the unit with a front cover.

Selection of the heating/air conditioning system
Before choosing the system, remove the control unit’s cover. On the printed circuit of the control unit, there are DIP switches. These 3 switches are used to control the range and toggle the heating/air conditioning system. Set the DIP switch (position 3) according to your choice of heating or air conditioning system, as marked in the following diagram.
Temperature range selection
The range is a thermal difference between the on and off temperatures. For example, if you set the temperature of the heating system at 20°C and the range is 0,8°C, the heater starts working if the room temperature drops to 19.6°C and it turns off if the temperature reaches 20.4°C. Set the DIP switch (positions 1 & 2) according to your choice of temperature range, as shown in the diagram.
(ON – active, OFF – inactive)
Battery installation
The thermostat T105 is powered by two AA, 1.5V batteries. Insert the two AA batteries into the battery compartment on the inner side of the front cover. During the first start-up, the display must show the time and room temperatures (such as 28.5°C). If different sorts of data appear on the display, gently push the RESET button. Use a thin straight object to do so, for instance, a straightened office paperclip.
After the installation put the rear cover back. Before switching the main system switch on, push the RESET button once. Now the thermostat is ready for use.
If a battery icon appears on the display, replace the batteries.
When replacing the batteries:
- Turn off the power supply and remove the thermostat’s rear cover.
- Replace the original batteries with new alkali AA batteries, do not use rechargeable batteries.
- Put the rear cover back.
- Push the RESET button once and re-establish the power supply.
Clock setting
- Push the button to set the day and time. The day indicator (numbers 1-7) is blinking.
- Use buttonor to choose the number of the day.
- Push the button and by arrows or set the clock. By holding or the set-up will go faster.
- push and use the arrows to set the minutes. If you hold the arrow, it will be faster.
- Push the button to return to the operation mode. If no button is touched for 10 seconds, the unit will return automatically to operation mode.
Control temperature setting
- Use the TEMPERATURE SETTING button to display the temperature setting.
- Use the button to toggle the economy and comfort modes.
- The arrows increase/ decrease the temperatures in 0.2°C steps.
- The TEMPERATURE SETTING button stores the selected temperatures. If no button is touched for 10 seconds, the unit will return to operation mode automatically.
The pre-set comfort mode is 21°C for the heating system and 23°C for air conditioning. The economy mode is 18°C for the heating system and 26°C for the air conditioning. The values can be changed as needed.
The dark fields show the setting of the comfort mode.
The others show the economy mode.
PROGRAMME SETTING
Selection of weekday
- Push the “P“ button and the day indicator will show the programmed day.
- Use the arrows or to select the day you wish to program. For programming, you can choose the whole week, a working day, a weekend or an individual day
- When you push “P” again, the thermostat will switch to set the program:
Selection of a pre-set program
- Push the “P” button again to set the program.
- Use the arrows or to select one of the programs P1 – P6. They are preset and their profiles are shown in the picture.
- By another push of the “P” button, you confirm the program for the specific day and return to the operation mode.
User adjustment of the control profile
- If during the process of control profile selection, you select a number of a user-defined program (P7-P9), push “P” to go to the setting of the thermal mode selection in a specific time.
- Push the arrows or This increases or decreases the set time by one hour. The icon or icon will be shown, depending on the previous setting. Push */C to toggle comfortable or economic mode
Example: The clock prompt is 0 and the hour segment 00 is blinking. The icon is on, if the previous setting was in the comfort mode, otherwise, the icon is on, for example, hours 00-23 are in the comfort mode.
Temporary overwriting of the operation mode
In the operation mode, pushing of the button toggles the present temperature setting to comfort or economy mode. When overwriting the operation mode, also the icon is on along with the present operation mode icon.
Temporary overwriting of the temperature setting
In the operation mode, you can overwrite the present temperature setting by pushing the arrow After the overwriting, the newly set temperatures will be shown with an activated icon, whereas the icons will be off. Pushing any other button (except or ) will terminate the setting process and will allow you to come back to the normal mode with the new setting. If no button is pushed within 10 seconds, the unit will automatically switch to normal mode.
Defrosting mode
- A simultaneous pressing of the buttons activates the defrosting mode (only for the heater mode). The icons and will be turned on, whereas the icons will be off, and the preset temperature for the defrosting mode is 7°C.
- Pushing any button will terminate the defrosting mode and return you to normal mode.
Adaptive Recovery Configuration
Adaptive Recovery Configuration (ARC) minimizes the use of heating or cooling during recovery from the setup program period. ARC activates when recovering room temperature from setup programs to comfort programs. So in heating mode ARC will only take place when the current program setpoint temperature is lower than the upcoming program setpoint temperature, and in cooling mode, the current temperature is higher than the upcoming temperature. During ARC, room temperature is recovered gradually by heating or cooling. The setpoint temperature is changed to that of the upcoming comfort program temperature, sometimes before the next program. The start time of ARC is based on how much the difference between the current room temperature and the upcoming comfort program setpoint temperature. The larger the difference, the earlier the ARC starts. The minimum time is 10 minutes and the maximum is 50 minutes.
