Zurn Thermostat with Remote Sensor. Meets Class B: ICES & FCC Part 15, CE approvals. Power supply is 10 to 30V (ac/dc), 50/60 Hz, 1.8 VA, Class 2. Applications include One Stage Heat, One Stage Heat with fan, Two Stage Heat, Two Stage Heat with fan, and One Stage Heat/Cool with fan. The QH521 includes a 10K ohm optional remote sensor that can be used to input room, floor or outdoor temperature. The thermostat has the ability to be programmable (24 hour or 7 day with 2 or 4 events per day) or non-programmable. It features a permanent temperature hold button, backlight, time clock with 4 hour battery-free backup, 2 auxiliary sensor inputs and an optimum start option that enables the thermostat to learn the heat up rate of the zone to help reach the set point of the next scheduled event in a timely manner. The QH521 has two access levels: installer and user. The installer level gives access to all settings where the user level only gives access to comfort and programmable schedule settings. Temperature control options: The QH521 can be set to control the room air temperature only by utilizing its built-in sensor with the option to install the remote sensor outside to display the outdoor temperature. Another option is to control the room air temperature by using the remote sensor. The third option is to control the floor temperature only by installing the remote sensor in the floor. The fourth option is to control the room air temperature with the built-in sensor and to install the remote sensor in the floor to do either or both the following: 1) Maintain a minimum floor temperature. 2) Set a maximum floor temperature to protect wood flooring.
