Application

The Taco 568-22 is an extremely versatile digital thermostat. It is battery operated, with dry contact switching and is compatible with most types of hot water heating systems. It can operate conventional heating systems that require a contact closure when room temperature is below set temperature. It can also operate some failsafe systems that require a contact closure when room temperature is above set temperature.

For example:
Nursing homes and daycare centers that use normally open zone valves.
