The RT520 and RT520RF are the latest additions to SALUS’ tried and tested RT range of thermostat heating controls.
With a new on-board load compensation feature, they offer the most cost effective fully compliant Boiler Plus solution on the market providing the homeowner with optimum efficiency and maximum heating control comfort.
Available in both wired and wireless RF versions, the new RT520 series include all the features of the previous RT series with a larger more intuitive LCD display and a handy new suite of additional operational and efficiency functions.
What is it?
The RT520 and RT520RF are wired and RF LCD Digital Display Room Thermostats. They are simple battery-operated digital display room thermostats with a large easy-to-read LCD for use in the general mass market heating segment.
What are the advantages?
The recent implementation of the so-called ‘Boiler Plus’ regulations in the UK has mandated that heating systems must include one of four specified energy saving features in order to be compliant with updated building regulations. SALUS already offer a range of compliant Smart connected thermostats with Optimisation and Automation features.
To meet the demand for non-connected Boiler Plus compliant thermostats we have introduced the RT520 as a solution including an energy saving load compensation feature.
OpenTherm Load Compensation additionally offers improved boiler control and efficiency by only using the necessary amount of gas to heat the water to the required temperature. In addition to the features found on the standard SALUS RT Line the RT520 has a range of additional advanced control and energy saving functions as well some added traditional features favoured by the Landlord and Social Housing segments such as a Service Mode and PIN control.
