Introduction

With its unique design, momit Bevel leads the next generation of smart thermostats to control your heating & cooling system through Bevel App.

Due to its integrated design there’s no need of any additional device. It has two main parts, a base unit that is mounted on the wall and a detachable display unit that can be moved anywhere in the home.  Perfect for system zoning to control the room temperature independently. Its 360º screen turns around automatically to show all the information, so it can be placed in any position.

You can use the My Budget function to set targets for how much you want to spend on heating each month. momit will alert you as you near the target. You can also check how much energy you’re using right now, and see what you’re likely to spend in the future. This could help you reduce the amount of energy you use, and more importantly lower your bills.

As easy as…

  1. Make sure you have Internet connection to perform the device configuration correctly.
  2. Download Bevel App from Google Play or App Store.
  3. Assign a name to your home and define its location.
  4. Register your Gateway in Bevel App by scanning the QR code that is on the back of the device.
  5. Install the Gateway. You must connect it to the current through the micro USB cable and the power adapter, as well as the router through the Ethernet cable.
  6. When the 3 LEDs are on and steady, the Gateway installation will be completed correctly.
  7. Separate the two parts of the device, thermostat (A) and base (B).
  8. Remove the base cover (B) by pressing both tabs.
  9. Register the base (B) scanning the QR code that is on the device.
  10. Register the thermostat (A) by scanning the QR code that is on the back of the device.
  11. Remove the thermostat’s battery cover (A) and remove the safety tab. The
  12. Internet Connection icon will appear on the screen when the Internet is connected.
  13. Bevel App will confirm that the devices have been successfully connected.

  15. CUT THE ELECTRICAL SUPPLY OF THE INSTALLATION AREA.
  16. If you already have a thermostat installed, remove the front panel and label the wires with the supplied stickers. Now, uninstall the thermostat.
  17. Introduce the climatization system specifications in Bevel App.
  18. Make sure the switch is located to the left or to the right as indicated in Bevel App.
  19. Fix the base (B) to the wall with the supplied screws and insert the wires through the rear opening. Connect them as shown in Bevel App.
  20. Power on the installation area again. Your devices will connect to Internet, this process can take up to 5 minutes.
  21. Synchronize your devices by pressing the center button of the thermostat (A) for 5 seconds and immediately press the button on the base (B).
  22. When the thermostat (A) and base (B) have been synchronized correctly, the synchronization icon will appear on the screen. Press next. Otherwise, repeat the previous step.
  23. Replace the base cover (B).
  24. Select Heat or Cool mode.
  25. Set the thermostat (A) to the base (B) or the room you prefer.
  26. Start enjoying your momit Bevel!

SAFETY WARNINGS 

  • Access momit.com
  • Read carefully the Installation Guide of the device.
  • Check the technical specifications of the device and make sure that the nominal voltage of the equipment adjusts to the tension in its electricity grid.
  • Refer to the wiring diagram.
  • Disconnect the power of the heating & cooling systems that are needed to manipulate the installation of momit Bevel.
  • momit can not be held responsile for any damage caused during electricity grid handling.
  • Do not allow the intervention of minors and / or unqualified personnel during installation.

WARRANTY

Momit offers a two years warranty against manufacturing defects on all your devices. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase. The terms of the warranty offered by momit are legally defined in the market where the product is sold. The handling of the equipment by personnel outside momit’s technical support will mean the immediate loss of warranty. Right of withdrawal: momit supports the clients return of purchase no later than fourteen days after product delivery, so long as the equipment is in perfect condition and with its original packaging.

Refund: In a period of thirty calendar days, momit shall receive the equipment prepaid on the address listed on the website of momit: momit.com
