BEFORE WIRING AND INSTALLING

1. Read these instructions carefully. Failure to follow them could damage the product or cause a hazardous condition.
2. Check the ratings given in the instructions and on the product to make sure the product is suitable for your application.
3. The installer must be a trained experienced service technician.

Choose the location suitable for the installation, following these guidelines:
To get a better reading of the display, install the thermostat at a height of 1.5m from the floor. Doors and windows, heat sources, and air vents must be away. Do not expose the thermostat to direct sunlight. Install ONLY indoors. The device was not designed to be installed outdoors.

• run the programmable mode P1 runs 5+2days 6 periods weekly programmable mode; P2 run 6+1days 6 periods weekly programmable mode; P3 run 7days 6 periods weekly programmable mode P1、P2、P3 select in the advanced setting.

Programmable Mode Setting

6 times period setting and weekly programmable mode setting: 5+2 days(factory default),6+1 days, 7 days.
Power on state, long press “ ” 3-5 seconds to enter into the first time period then set hour, minutes, period temperature, press “ ” and “ ” to adjust value. After finishing setting, stand for about 10 seconds, it will save the setting and then exit.

Advanced options

Power off state, long press for 3-5 seconds to do advanced setting. Short press “ ” to switch and confirm. Press“ ” and “ ” to adjust options. After finishing setting, stand for about 5 seconds, it will save the setting and then exit.

How to open the thermostat

Using a screwdriver, gently press and pry up the two slots on the lower edge of the timer thermostat. Raise and separate the two parts. Fix the thermostat base to the wall with screws and plugs.

Wiring
CAUTION

• Please contact a professional technician to install the product.
• Disconnect power from the system before making any electrical connections.
• Contact with components carrying dangerous voltages can cause electric shock.
• On the base, there are 5 terminals that connect the 220V power line to the L and N poles.
• To connect a boiler, a normally open, voltage-free contact is required. Use the COM and NO poles.

Mobile App Configuration

Download and install the HeySmart app from Apple and/or Google Play store.
Make a new account, Select your country, enter the email, and complete the registration.
At the end of the registration, you can make the login (mail/password). Please, make sure to connect your smartphone to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi modem to which you want to connect the thermostat.
In the power-on state, keep the buttons pressed simultaneously on the display, and at the same time, the icon flashes to indicate the connection mode.

Press “Add Device” or “+” in the upper right corner to add the device, select other and proceed with the configuration. On your thermostat, Click the Confirm icon rapidly blinks. then select your network and back to your app to enter the password of your wireless router and confirm. The app will connect automatically. This may typically take up to 5~90 seconds to complete. This is a mode that provides a fast network connection between your app and your device.

Association with Amazon Alexa
Access the skills from the Alexa app, search HeySmart, and connect your account. Once the connection is established, ask Alexa to search all devices to add them. Once learned, you can ask: “Alexa, set <Themostat Name> at 25°”

Association with Google Home ™
Log in to the Google Home™ app, search HeySmart, and connect your account.

Once learned, you can ask: “Hey Google, set <Themostat Name> at 25°”

Remove the Thermostat from the account

To remove the thermostat from your account, access the settings by clicking on the button at the top right and remove the device.
Only after this procedure, it will be possible to associate the thermostat with a new account.

Download and install the HeySmart app from the App Store and/or Google Play Store.
Note: select your country, enter your email, and complete your account registration. Once registration is complete, you will be able to log in (e-mail/password). Make sure you connect your smartphone to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi modem you want to connect the thermostat to. With the thermostat on, keep the keys on the screen pressed simultaneously and  the icon will blink to indicate that it is in connection mode. Press “Add a device” or “+” in the upper right corner, select “Other” and continue with the configuration. On the thermostat, click the confirmation icon “flashes quickly”. Enter the password of the wireless router and confirm. At the end of the procedure, the thermostat will be connected to the router and will appear on the App.
Typically this can take between 5 and 90 seconds. Confirm to add the device.

Compatibility with voice assistants (Google Assistant ™ and Amazon Alexa) is not guaranteed in all countries.
DELETE THE DEVICE FROM APP

To remove the thermostat from your account, access the settings by clicking on the button and Remove the device. It is only after this procedure that it will be possible to associate the thermostat with a new account.
