    See the schedule Nest has learned from your temperature adjustments. If it’s not right, change it.

    See how much energy you’ve used in the last 10 days and why.

    Choose options like thermostat lock and fan control.
  • Away
    Set Nest to Away when you leave to save energy while you’re gone.

Your life with Nest

Day 1

  • Install and setup
    During setup, tell Nest what system you have, and System Match will turn on specific features to keep you comfortable and help you save. Go to nest.com/support if you need help.

  • Remote control
    Download the free Nest app for your phone or tablet. Connect the Nest Thermostat to Wi-Fi. Then control your thermostat from anywhere.

  • Teach it well
    The Nest Thermostat learns from you. Just change the temperature when you wake up, go to bed, leave the house and come home. After a few days, Nest will do it for you.

Day 7

Changing the temperature just one degree can lower your energy use by up to 5%.

    By now, the Nest Thermostat has learned the temperatures you like and created a schedule. You can edit your schedule on the thermostat, the Nest app or the web.
  • Nest Leaf
    The Leaf appears when you choose a temperature that saves energy.

    It automatically adjusts to an energy-saving temperature when you’re away.
    Maximize savings with Auto-Away by setting your Away “heat to” temp below 65° and your Away “cool to” temp above 80°.

  • Energy History
    See when you used heating and cooling and how your adjustments, the weather, and Auto-Away affected your energy use.
  • Home Report
    Your monthly Home Report email is packed with energy info and tips to help you save.

Day 90

Going on vacation? Start saving money the minute you walk out the door by manually turning on Away.

  • Seasons change
    When you switch from heat to cool or vice versa, the Nest Thermostat will learn a new schedule.
  • Airwave
    Lower your AC bill. Airwave cuts AC runtime automatically and still keeps you cool when home humidity isn’t too high.
  • Heat • Cool
    Set a temperature range and it automatically switches between heating and cooling to keep you comfortable.
