The Côr Series of thermostats consists of Wi-Fi and non–Wi-Fi air conditioners, heat pumps and Thermostat controls. These units feature non–mercury, non–lead-based electronic controls built into a subtle, slim plastic enclosure.

OPERATIONAL INFORMATION
Heating/Cooling Setpoints
The heating/cooling setpoint range is from 50_F (10_C) to 90_F (32_C). A selectable range of 1–6_ is enforced between heating and cooling desired temperatures. This is done by allowing one set to “push” the other, to maintain this difference. (This difference is adjustable in Installer settings.)
Humidify/Dehumidify Setpoint Range
The humidified setpoint range is from 10% to 44% RH in 2% RH increments. The dehumidifier setpoint range is from 46% to 66% RH in 2% RH increments.
Five–minute Compressor Time Guard
This timer prevents the compressor from starting unless it has been off for at least 5 minutes.
Equipment on indicators
When cooling equipment is ON, a COOL icon is displayed. When heating equipment is ON, a HEAT icon is displayed. When auxiliary heating is ON (HP only), an AUX HEAT icon is displayed. When actively heating or cooling there is a corresponding icon above the name on the top of the screen.
Humidify/Dehumidify Ventilator Output Indicators (Côr 7 and Côr 7C)
When the operating mode is heated and the HUM output is energized the “ACC” icon shall be displayed. When the operating mode is cool, the dry contact is configured as a DEHUM or a VENTILATOR output is energized, the “ACC” icon shall be displayed. (Requires Rapidt Connect 2–wire accessory)
Auto Changeover
When Auto Changeover mode is selected, a change from heat to cool (or vice versa) will not occur until an opposite mode demand has existed for 20 minutes. When a setpoint is changed, Auto Changeover timing is ignored to allow the heating/cooling equipment to respond quickly. Auto Changeover mode can be disabled.
Emergency Heat Mode
When the thermostat is controlling a heat pump and emergency heat is selected, all Y signals are locked out, and W becomes energized upon a call for heat.
Ideal Awayt (Smart Setback)
With Ideal Awayt (Smart Setback) selected during an Away mode, the thermostat will decide how far to setback the temperature and how soon prior to the next period the thermostat will begin to recover, based on the history of the recovery times from prior setbacks.
Smart Recovery
With Smart Recovery selected, transition out of setback begins a fixed time period (Off, 30, 60, or 90 minutes selectable) before the selected recovery time and gradually adjusts room temperature so that the desired temperature will be achieved at the selected recovery time.
Room Temperature Offset
Room temperature may be deliberately offset by up to 5_ in either direction.
Programmable Fan (Programmable models)
This selection allows the homeowner to program the fan selection to “Auto” or “Fan On” for each of the program schedule periods.
Wi-Fi Compatibility
The Wi-Fi thermostats are compatible with the 2.4 GHz router channel, not the 5 GHz channel. The Wi-Fi security is not compatible with:
- S WEP
- S WPA
- S WPA Enterprise
- S WPA2 enterprise
The Supported Wi-Fi Security includes:
- S WPA2
- S None (Thermostat security type must be set to OPEN)
OptiSavet
Calculates estimated savings based on keeping the home at a constant 72_F. Each period is estimated so the user can adjust the temperature if they desire to improve their savings and comfort.
Geofencing Control
The Geofencing feature if enabled on the mobile app, allows the Côr 5C/7C thermostats to automatically enter the Away or Home temperature setting when the mobile phone associated with the thermostat exits or enters the user-specified perimeter. Multiple mobile phones can be associated with 1 thermostat
